To identify areas of diagnostic difficulties and challenges in everyday surgical pathology and cytopathology practice, and to provide expert insight on selected topics through didactic lectures, tutorial sessions and interactive reviews.\

This coursse is designed to teach attendees how to describe gross and microscopic lesions in a variety of major organs in numerous animal species. Both written and oral descriptive techniques will be taught.

To present the audience a hands-on experience in diagnostic problems in everyday cytopathology practice and an update on recent developments in the use of special techniques in cytopathology. At the end of the cytopathology course, the learner will be able to identify common problem areas in cytopathology practice, recognize potential pitfalls and develop a differential diagnosis and a management plan.

The objective of this five-day course is to provide pathologists and cytotechnologists with a comprehensive overview of and update on diagnostic cytology. The emphasis is on light microscopic criteria, with the incorporation of immunochemistry, molecular biology, and automation as they apply to cytology.

This course is designed to provide updated knowledge for practicing surgical pathologists, academicians, and residents. It addresses the resolution of diagnostic problems relative to each of the major organ systems.

This course is designed to enhance the basic education of ophthalmologists (residents, general practitioners, and specialists) with respect to the normal and pathologic structure of ocular tissues.

There will be sessions on 26 subspecialties in addition to the 4 key-notes lectures and 4 plenary sessions on subjects of interest of all, both academic and surgical pathologists.
